Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13, 1981) is an American actor from the United States. His career began with television parts, which included Opposite Sext in 2000. Evans became famous as The Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the film Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was featured in a variety of film adaptations of comic books and graphic novels, such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). The film gained him more recognition due to his role as Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War as well as the group films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He became one of the top-paid actors in the world thanks to his involvement in the Marvel franchise.
